Papaya is a tropical fruit. It has a very exotic flavor. Papaya is wonderful in fruit salads, purred in drinks or just eat the fruit itself.
The pear shaped fruit is simple to cut. Put the papaya on a cutting board. Using a knife, cut the papaya inhalf lengthwise.
Using a tablespoon, scrape out the seeds into a bowl.
Hold the papaya cut side down on a cutting board.
Using a vegetable peeler or paring knife peel of the skin.
Cut the papaya into half moon slivers and then chop as you like.
