I went to a Food Truck Festival several weeks ago.
It was the third year Food Truck Festival in this area. There are about 15 food trucks in there, from selling cakes, beverages, burgers to dessert.
I came earlier trying to beat the crowd so I can look around to see which one that I would like to try first. People already line up around 4:30, most of the workers still busy preparing the stuff to get ready for the costumer, so we have to wait for a while.
Here are some of the Food Trucks that parked in the area.
Jay’s Chicago is a Hot Dog cart, I tried the Polish all beef hotdog it served with Chicago style condiment such as pickle relish, celery salt & tomato and they also has bratwurst too.
The Uncle Bud’s Catfish Truck, they served fried catfish & chicken, the fish was fresh & not too much breading. They include fries & hush puppies with each order.
Another thing That I tried was The Sandwich from Jones Press, this time I tried the Asian Brisket, it was a Korean BBQ braised brisket Sandwich, with spicy Asian greens ( Kimchi), provolone & garlic mayo.
The next thing that I tried was Italian Ice at Papa’s Italian Ice.
As the day get darker more and more people line up & have a good time at the Food Trucks Festival.
