Last August I went to Jakarta, Indonesia to visit my parents.
As usual in the morning I like to go to pasar (the market) close to my parents house.
The market always busy, a bit messy & smelly, but I don’t mind I just too excited to see all the activities & things that they sell. From fresh vegetables, kue basah ( Indonesian traditional cakes), kitchen gadget, clothes, fish, to pots & pans. Not only that, they also sell fresh food from noodle soup, nasi campur ( mix rice), e mie (another type of noodle dish) & many other dishes. You can watched how they prepared the dishes.
Me & my dad used to go to one of the stall and ordered kwetiau goreng (fried rice noodle) and he always gets his cup of coffee. We also brought home bubur (rice porridge) for my mom.
This is some of the snapshot, I hope you like it as much as I do.
